Although I have not been here since the days when 'KENS' used to always have a line out the door, today's visit was good with no wait at all. I was promptly greeted by a very nice gal, who asked ? One? I replied yes a table for one she pointed at a booth twice & said here you go I replied, no thank you a table , please. She finally understood and laughed out loud & I said no matter how many times you pointed at that 'booth' I was waiting to see you turn it into a table. On to the food, I ordered a Greek Omelet which had Feta,Onions, Gyro Meat and Tomatoes + the provided some Gyro Sauce ! A I chose American Fries versus Hash Browns B and I chose Biscuits & Gravy over toast for a $1.50 upcharge C The Coffee was very fresh & Hot and 'Debbie' kept my cup very full and removed all dirty dishes promptly A+ They were even selling Paczkis today $ 1.79 It seemed ever customer was a regular, whom the staff knew by name, except for me A

First off all I must commend the great remod that has been done. It was very needed. The waitresses seem very friendly and attentive. The menu is large. Maybe too large for all of the food to come out consistently prepared and well seasoned. Been coming here on and off for ten years for the most part the food is good and portions are large the pricing is ok. We'll be back

Since remodeling the inside is absolutely gorgeous! It's not a country kitchen any more lol. The food is a great as ever, but the portions are now smaller and the prices have increased slightly. I went there with a friend and the price for 2 omelets with 2 drinks was almost $18.00! Wait staff is super friendly too. I highly recommend their cheeseburger and chili cheese fries, absolutely amazing, but despite all that, I no longer go to Ken's every weekend for breakfast, the portion decrease/price increase made it cheaper to eat at home. Now I only go there if I'm out and hungry, because they are very fast.

A sweet little place to get a good home cooked meal with a home made taste. The prices are fair and you get a lot for your money. Good people who care for their customer. You need to get their early on the weekends or you may have to stand in line for a little. But you will be rewarded once you get inside.with a hot meal and nice experience. This is not the" new thing" it's the standard home cooked fair nothing fancy but everything good.

We had breakfast here the other day and we couldn't have been happier. The food was excellent (especially for a family diner). And the service was perfect. Portion sizes were large. And prices we're reasonable. I will be going back with my family soon.

Great service but the food is not so good anymore. Seems like all the food is from a package or a can.

Every town or neighborhood needs one of these restaurants - affordable staples of american or americanized ethnic food that can feed a family of four for less than $30. Ken's recently changed owners, and though I was sad to see Patti and her shrill "Hello Babies!" enthusiasm disappear from my local eatery, the new owners seem to have maintained the menu and staff at status quo so no major problems with the change so far. At Ken's, breakfasts come all day/evening, your coffee cup is almost never less than half full, the burgers are big and juicy and the salads are awful. Yeah, it's that iceberg lettuce/tomato wedge salad that you hate. Stick with the soups, which rotate daily and are actually pretty decent. The menu includes the "Ultimate" omelette, which uses a dozen eggs in its creation. Unless you're an afficianado of the Man vs. Food kind of silliness, or are splitting it with 4-6 people, stick with their standard variety of omelette, or pancakes (which are thin, but light and tasty). Of their daily specials, the meatloaf is good, the pot pie is Very Good. Their greek-esque menu items are okay, but not really a highlight. This restaurant has ample seating and quick food preparation/service. One word of caution, it still has a smoking section (at least until the anti-smoking law takes effect) but if you sit on the opposite side of the restaurant it's not too bad.

Tonight we didn't feel like cooking or driving far. My fella wanted a burger and wanted a sit down place, so Ken's it was! It took me a few minutes to decide want to eat, because man, their menu is huge! They serve breakfast all day and I was almost dead set on getting some yummy eggs, but at the last minute I decided to go with the veggie pita and a cup of dill pickle soup... That's rights dill pickle soup! It was a first for me and I have to say it was quite delicious. It has a milk base with carrots, potatoes and of course the pickles. Try it! The veggies on my pita were fresh and plentiful. I only wish the lettuce had some more substantial greens, spinach or a spring mix would be better than iceberg. The fella enjoyed his burger and raved about the chicken noodle soup. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a nice, casual experience. We will be back I'm sure.

First time here Service was good Seating was good The breakfast was meh. Eggs Benedict solid and no yolks. And pancakes were smallest and flattest I've ever seen. Cashier told me as I was leaving they are known for their flat tiny pancakes. IMO that's not a compliment.

Who doesn't like being seated right away? Who doesn't like being asked to order while being seated? Who doesn't like breakfast arriving 4 minutes after it was ordered? Who doesn't like getting 5lbs of Hash-browns with eggs and ham? Who doesn't like their coffee topped off twice before taking a sip? I could go on and on. Ken's is all about speed. Get you in... Get you out. The mound of hash-browns was crispy on the outside but mashed potatoes on the inside. Everything else is average. Slow it down a bit, Ken.

Went there for my first, and probably only, time for breakfast today. Good ambience, good service I was disappointed with the food. I ordered the turkey club omelette. Eggs, turkey and bacon in the omelette were over cooked. Hash browns were bland.

Ken's Country Kitchen used to be wonderful, but I have to say they are not the best anymore. First, let me say the good things. It is clean, well lit, lots of booths, and a good variety on the menu (unless you go on Sunday when they will not serve meals, only breakfasts, sandwiches, and salads. The portions are also very good. Now, for the less than stellar: The staff, while pleasant are far more interested in interacting with themselves as opposed to waiting on the customers. The food is at best geriatric. It is bland and soft. I have eaten here for years, but I will be taking my business elsewhere. I am saddened that they have changed.
